曲について
もともとは「伝えられない僕ら」という歌を元に、英語版の曲を先に制作しました。
それは洋楽の80年代から90年代の曲調をどうしても取り入れたいという希望があったため、
メロディー先行でいくなら英語の歌詞のほうがしっくりくるのではないかと思ったためでした。
そのため歌詞を作成してから全く歌として仕上げることもなく、学生時代に作成して以来、長年温めていた楽曲です。
披露の機会はありませんでした。
リリースについて
学生当時ハマっていたQueen、シカゴ、イーグルスなどの洋楽の80年代から90年代の曲調を取り入れるために温めていた楽曲です。
しかし当時はその曲調を再現する力もなく、曲として仕上げることができず歌詞だけが残っていた状態でした。
英語の歌詞をあらためて書き起こして、曲を作成したところ、英語の歌詞も大きなタイミングのずれなくフィットしたため、わりとスムーズに完成に至りました。
力強いサウンドにどこか懐かしさが残されているようで出来に満足しています。
